What is the photochromic lens?

Photochromic lenses are eyeglass lenses that are clear (or nearly clear) indoors and darken automatically when exposed to sunlight.

Transmittance: 80%-18% (80% is light grey colour when in low UV, 18% is dark grey colour when in high UV)

    Not quite happy!

    I have two main issues with these glasses: there is no antislip rubber or treatment on arms. The whole frame is made of hard plastic. So they tend to slip off my head quite easily, very annoying!
    Second and most importantly is the quality of optical materials. They darken just slightly in bright lights making me still squinting my eyes! I feel the most that they do is 20-30% tint, far from the 80% claimed!
    I would have returned these if I didn’t have to pay for return postage.

    I can’t give either a bad or good rating because they still haven’t been delivered yet. Ordered and paid for on 11th December it is now 25th December still no glasses.

    Theses photochromatic glasses are fantastic. They lighten and darken effectively. Vry comfortable wearing with bike helmet. Highly recommnd.
