ROCKBROS VDS 20 Inch Folding Bike 8 Speed 11-32T Cassette Disc Brake

Have been using this bike now as a last mile transport - so leaving it folded in the car boot, park in a more convenient location then riding the bike the last few kilometers to avoid parking and traffic congestion - very very handy for this. Also comes in very handy for short trips to local shops for groceries, coffee runs and cathing up with friends. Very hilly where I live including right outside my driveway, at first I thought I'd have trouble climbing, but the gearing on this little bike has no issues, although the gears are better suited for fast riding surprisingly! As you can see from the photos, I've paired this bike with RockBors' Brompton style frame bag for short run deliveries and pick ups. It doesn't interfere with the bike folded or not. In fact I have a saddle bag and water bittle bag - both are quick and easy velcro attachments! For daily use, this bike has almost replaced my car and as you can see from the photos, it fits easily into a small Golf hatchback standing upright or laid down on its side. And at about 12Kg, it's really lightweight - even my petite daughter has no issues carrying it around!

Settled for green version of this model after looking at many competing folding bikes and models - price and specs (overall value) sold it for me. It's incredibly light at 12kg and folds up relatively small - very easy to carry once folded. The magnets holding the folded bike turned out to be surpisingly strong!

I was also very surprised at fast this bike is - riding behind some gravel bike riders I was shocked how easy it was to keep up with them on a paved trail. I also liked the Shimano gears which were very smooth and pretty quiet. Brakes were good, not great but for the type of riding for this bike, more than good enough...

Overall very happy with the bike's quality and performance - more than happy actually and wuold definitely recommend anyone looking for a great value fold up bike that also looks really good!

Really good folding bike for commuting. I bought this to use at either end of the journey when travelling by train, a generic universal carry bag for 20” folders is available elsewhere should you need to disguise what you’re carrying. It folds and unfolds really easily, great little magnetic hitch keeps it together when folded. The handlebars do take a little more loosening at all joints when folding, along with getting safety clips out of the way, but it’s not really a chore. Pretty lightweight too, at just over 12 kg, easily manageable when folded. The frame geometry and 20” wheels give it pin sharp handling, great for negotiating city life. Transmission is functional in keeping with the Altus group set, 1x setup is perfect for town. I’d consider upgrading the pedals to the alloy version from the standard plastic, but that’s about all.
All in all the perfect machine for those with a bit of a walk to and from a train station.
